
Based at Imperial College London, the Imperial Enterprise Lab is a dedicated entrepreneurship centre on a mission to inspire the next generation of student and postdoc entrepreneurs through hypothesis-driven experiential learning, supported by a deep network of expert coaches and mentors.
Whether you want to test an idea, tackle a pressing social or environmental challenge, develop new skills to help you in your career, start a business or just meet interesting new people, the Enterprise Lab is the gateway to enterprise and entrepreneurship at Imperial. From competitions to speaker events, hackathons, monthly events and masterclasses, co-working space, and expert mentoring we offer all the support students and postdocs need, free of charge and accessible to everyone.
Events
We run a range of regular events including our Community Collider networking events, How to Talks and Startup Masterclasses on a range of entrepreneurial topics.
Programmes
Our flagship programme is the Venture Catalyst Challenge – a 7-week programme with £90,000 up for grabs. All of our programmes are listed on our website including our WE Innovate programme for women-led teams, our global SDG programme Global Challenge Lab, and Discovery Fund an innovative experiential learning programme blending micro-grants with online learning modules.
Expert Advice
In addition to the above, we offer expert 1:1 advice for students and recent alumni at all stages of their innovation journey from Idea Surgeries for those just starting out with a concept, to our Experts-in-Residents and Imperial Venture Mentoring Service for those who are actively building a new venture.
